Our approach to Leadership is eclectic, and leans on the works of Barbara Kellerman, especially around avoiding the seven sins of bad leadership, but also emphasizing empathy in a leader, and moral intelligence – doing the correct thing, even when there is nobody looking. Also taking leaders through the crucial Q’s – Emotional intelligence and Cultural intelligence
Team building taps into Lencioni’s five dysfunctions of a team, and how we burnt our own fingers in the process of building and managing teams . Tuckman’s work on forming, storming, norming and performing and adjourning inform our approach.
Our approach recognises the importance of warming up, and creating safe contexts, using story-telling, and story sharing to build trust, before engaging on the subject matter at hand.
Research involves conducting surveys, and editing theses and dissertations. Ensuring that references in text, and the reference list correspond. Advising students to leverage technology, like Turn it in-to counteract plagiarism.
Diversity and Inclusion sees us enhancing the Cultural Intelligence of organisations, and providing them with tools, to overcome the inimical -isms eg racism, sexism, ethnocentrism etc
